I am writing this blog after attending a Health & Safety Tradeshow in Farnborough.
I always enjoy my time at these events for many reasons:
- You find out the latest updates and changes within the industry.
- You meet up with like-minded safety professionals
- You learn so much for the many different speakers and seminars available
- You get to talk to the leading industry experts
- It’s great to get out of the office and be surrounded with your industry sector people
- Meeting new people and finding out we all have the same issues
- Catching up with suppliers and building stronger working relationships with them.
All of this information expands my knowledge so that I can support my clients even more.
I did come here with a client issue (they are aware as I was with them yesterday and I said I would find out more information to help them). I have spoken to 4 different suppliers and now have some options for my clients to look into to help them in their business.
As a Safety professional I do not know everything and these experiences build deeper understandings and further knowledge for personal development.
This is the 3rd one I have attended this year. The other ones were at The Excel in London and the NEC in Birmingham they were much bigger. I found today just the perfect size to be honest and it wasn’t too busy which is great as being able to talk to the many exhibitors was great fun and informative.
I am looking forward to receiving lots of email from the people I met today and to be able to pass information onto my clients as/when required.
