This is a question I get asked on a regular basis –
‘Do I need to have some health monitoring carried out for my staff?’
My answer is usually yes.
Some of the types of work that require monitoring are:
- Working with chemicals or dust
- Working in noisy environments
- Working with vibrating tools
Are just a few examples of health monitoring I would recommend.
The monitoring is quite simple the consultant will attach a device to the employee’s body and then measure whatever is required. As far as timescales this can start from 1 hour up to 8 hours depending on what is being measured.
